  35. I'm interested in trying to write up some stuff for the baycom modem, and thing
  36. think that the TFPCX drive would do the trick for the programs, BUT! the docs
  37. I have are in German, and I  can't figure out a words as to what the calls he 
  38. needs to have the program call up the driver.

  82. Hi,  John from Canberra - Australia here.
  83. requesting information on mods available for the above radio to allow
  84. its use for packet (4800bd and above).  Have installed some mods and
  85. transmit seems O.K. at 4800, but reception seems very dependent on
  86. the transmitting station.  Have tapped after the demod circuit having
  87. changed the first filter to a higher cut-off frequency.  Still have
  88. to de-tune the input to the demod substantially to get good decode.
  89. This means radio becomes more deaf to distant stations, so I could
  90. step on them.
  91. So--- if you have a mod, please let me know - would also like to get
  92. a copy of the service manual for this rig if anyone has.
